Audio Help

audio icon   The Village Song - Andrew Stocks / Elliot Davis
"I would describe my influences as soft acoustic rock, with an easy listening feel, which has stemmed from my influences such as John Lennon, Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, Billy Joel, Elvis and the Beatles"  Andrew Stocks, Hull.

audio icon   Losing My Mind - Gemma Frances Hands
"I've been singing from the age of 9. My main influences are Mariah Carey, Vivian Green, Aretha Franklin and Jill Scott" Gemma Hands, Liverpool

audio icon   Right Here Right Now - Dave Major
"My influences are diverse and so I like to write in different genres. When I met 15 year old twins Franix they said that liked Busted and Avril Lavigne and so I've written this song for them with a girl-Busted vibe." Dave Major, Chesterfield

audio icon   Rock - Sara Colman
"..the music I listen to most is Prince, Stevie Wonder and Joni Mitchell. My love of Jazz started at a very young age when my dad would play me Bessie Smith and Ella Fitzgerald." Sara Coleman, Birmingham

audio icon   I Wonder Why - Nikki Murray
"I would describe my music as a modern sound with retro guitar playing. I love melody, I think it's the most important part of a song and I try to capture original and beautiful melodies in my music." Nikki Murray, Buckingham

audio icon   Txt Me - Leon Cave
I chose to write about text messaging because I see it as the fastest growing and most popular forms of communication in our present times. Leon Cave, Winsford.

audio icon   Stop - Steve Carville
"Most people seem to find it hard to classify their music and I'm afraid I'm no exception. I suppose it's somewhere in the region of pop-country-soul-jazz. See what I mean?" Steve Carville, Eastbourne

audio icon   Those Days - Vivienne Ekwulugo
"I like to think that people can relate to my music, or that it evokes emotions or thoughts when they listen to it and if it doesn't do that then I hope it just serves as pleasant listening. Vivienne Ekwulugo, Enfield.

audio icon   Pray For The Rain - Owen Thomas / Lily-May Young
"Our music reflects a merger of sould singers like Roberta Flack and more contemporary artists including Boo Hewerdine and Guy Chambers." Owen Thomas, Gillingham, Dorset.

audio icon   Coffee Is A Lie - Jason Baron
"..north/south travelling has sprung forth songs of uproot and wonder, stories of folks not quite sure that where they are is actually where they want to be. And the evils of coffee." Jason Baron, London
