UPDATED   "Alternatives to Invasives" invasive plant replacement list now available

An ALL-NEW Alternatives to invasives  

PDF icon  (415 Kb) document is now available. This list is based on the most recent (07 June 2004) results of the Hawaii-Pacific Weed Risk Assessment system (see www.hear.org/wra/ ) cross-referenced with species listed in the Maui County Planting Plan (MCPP) (produced by the Maui County Arborist Advisory Committee [see www.hear.org/mcaac/ ]). Landscape use and cultivation information is provided from the MCPP for the non-invasive alternative species to aid in decisions regarding where the recommended species can best be utilized.
