When the Asian Games take place in Guangzhou in China, one sport that will make a much anticipated debut is cricket.
China is not known as a cricketing nation, but they are gearing up to face the challenge and they will be fielding a Women's cricket team.
The team which is still in its developmental stages, is in India for a special training session organised by the Punjab Cricket Association.
The Indian Cricket Board has been helping the China Cricket Association with some coaching expertise by sending Mamatha Maben to coach the Chinese women's team.
Maben played 22 international seasons for India before heading the chinese women's team in March 2009 and in this report by Lakshmi Arumugam of BBC Hindi.com, she says that cricket has been improving gradually in China.
