Frequently asked questions

Why is the Historic Figures page changing?

We periodically review content across BBC websites such as History to ensure it is as clear, well-designed and user-friendly as possible. As a result of our latest review, we have carried out a complete redesign that has now been launched.

Why is the page for Historic Figures so big?

In the last few years, the number of people using larger monitors has increased dramatically. The updated Historic Figures pages have been carefully designed so that they appear full-size on the most popular screen size of 1024 x 768 pixels.

How can I tell you my views about the updated Historic Figures?

Please use the feedback form at the top of this page. Every email will be read, and your feedback will help to develop Historic Figures further.
