What does 'remember me' mean?

If you tick the 'remember me' box, the computer you are using now will remember your member name and password the next time you visit bbc.co.uk - saving you the time typing them in again.

However, for your security, only use this service if you are at a computer that only you use.

Never tick 'remember me' if you are using a computer in an internet café or library where lots of people have access to it.
