All Transmission Services are supplied to the BBC under contract by third parties. The standards are commercially confidential, and contract specific, and therefore have restricted access.
The BBC's Distribution department is responsible for ensuring BBC services are universally available on all platforms, and for managing contracts with suppliers.
Transmission Policies Ref 01 Refer to the Technology Representative, Distribution any proposed additions to existing transmission agreements.
Transmission Policies Ref 02 Refer to the Technology Representative, Distribution any proposed new transmission agreements or arrangements.
Transmission Policies Ref 03 (renamed from distr_01_01) Any deviations and exceptions from the published standards for the distribution of radio or television programmes must be agreed with BBC Distribution.
