Diversity Policy Ref 01 [This statement has been deleted] Diversity Policy Ref 02 The BBC will make all reasonable adjustments within the technical environment to ensure we comply with the terms of the Disability Discrimination Act 1995. This means: - Ensuring our desktop and broadcast technologies comply with the standards detailed in the Technical Accessibility Standards documents, which form part of the BBC's technical standards, "Delivering Quality", published on bbc.co.uk/guidelines/dq. - Trying to ensure web services on bbc.co.uk are accessible by: - defining how the service will aim to reasonably support the different accessibility needs of our disabled audiences - defining and using appropriate guidelines (published on bbc.co.uk/guidelines/newmedia/accessibility) to guide the production of the service to meet those aims - user-testing the service with disabled users to check its implementation meets those aims - providing help for disabled users to use the service in the best way for them.
