Let's begin with some questions about being on Newsround.

This first one is for both of you, from Alice-TheOneAndOnly

What is it like to be a presenter and how did you feel when you were told you're an NR presenter?

It's great fun being a Newsround presenter you get to travel all the time and meet lots of interesting people. When I found out I was going to be a presenter for Newsround the first thing I did was ring up my Mum and scream down the phone - I was a little over excited.

When i first heard I had got the job on Newsround I literally jumped for joy! I had always loved watching Newsround and couldn't believe that I could be apart of it now. Being a presenter is a really cool job. every day is different and you get to meet so many brilliant people and you get to ask them whatever you want.

If I wasn't a Newsround presenter I would still like to work with people. I think I would like to be either a social worker, giving people some extra help in their lives or I would like to be a politician and hopefully change the local area where I live for the better.

Yes. I've always wanted to be a Newsround presenter. I used to watch the show when I was younger and I remember thinking how it would cool it would be to work for Newsround. I've been working here for about two months and it IS the coolest job ever!

One of the things I love about being part of the Newsround team is that whenever anyone goes on holiday they always bring back lots of sweet treats for everyone to enjoy. So while we're working away in the office there's often loads of chocolate to munch on.

Hi Seaponyprincess

I did have a big fluffy dog, he was a golden labrador called Simba. Unfortunately he died the other week so it was very sad for me and all my family. But Simba lived for 13 years and he had a great life going on lots of long walks and I have lots and lots of brilliant memories of him. x

I was wondering, ... what is the scariest thing you've ever done?

HiNina~Adventurousinatutu,

Well, before I came to work on Newsround I was making a program for the BBC where a girl was skydiving out of a plane at 21 thousand Feet in the air. We needed to film her doing this very daring task and the only way to film her was for someone to jump out of the plane too with a camera and film her in the air. Everyone else on the team was too scared to do it, so I volunteered. It was the scariest thing I have ever done but when I had reached the ground I felt very proud and excited about it.

Hey Nina, I find flying really scary, I don't like being high up in the air. Recently I had to fly to Ireland and then on to Glasgow for some Newsround stories. I was nervous about my flights, lots of nail biting took place. So even though it sounds really silly, I find getting on planes the scariest thing in the world.

PinkStarchaser good question!! I've always wanted to visit Cuba in the Caribbean. Beautiful beaches, hot weather and the most amazing buildings in Havana (the city centre) and I'm acutally going there in a couple of weeks. Yey

I would most like to interview Margaret Thatcher, she was the first female Prime Minister in Britain and was known as the Iron Lady, so i would love to quiz her about what it was like to do her job and why she made some of the decisions she did. But i would also like to ask Britney Spears if she would be my friend as I think we would get on quite well.

That's a tricky one Jemina, as I love and need so many things. Apart form the essential water I would have to say that I would need something to read to stop me going mad. So if i could take a life time supply of books and magazines, that would be ideal!

Well, I couldn't live without my mobile phone! It has an MP3 built into it. So not only would I be able to listen to music I'd be able to call home and tell everyone where I was!
