Hi! The best part of Clash for me was definitely meeting the Noisettes. My favourite challenge was the Covent Garden one you just saw because it was the perfect challenge and I was the leader of the group!

The best part of Clash was definitely Radio 1's big weekend. It was amazing. The atmosphere was just unbelievable and I'll never get an opportunity like that again.

Hi, puploverLaura!
We work as a team so well, and I think we worked much better than Bobby's team! I practice from about half an hour to an hour every day.

Yeah, we definitely worked as a team, although I didn't feel that came across very well on TV. We got along really well. And yeah, I practice my instrument every day or at least as often as I can.

Another one for both of you:

Quanta98 says:
Hi Sam hi Jake,
Q: Do you practice the drums to gether or indivedvually?

Message 9 - posted by Sam - Clash Team Member (U14091581) , Aug 4, 2009

Hey, Quanta98!
No, we practice individually because we both live in separate parts of the country and we can't meet up just to practice! So we practice on our own in our own houses.
During the show, we didn't practice together but we did see each other drum.

No, we never practiced together, because we were in different teams. Also there were never two drumkits set up together, so we couldn't have even if we wanted to.

Hi, bluebanana14!
My brother, Josh, played guitar from a very young age and I decided that I wanted to be in a band with him. So we started up a band and we play about fifty tracks. My brother plays guitars and sings, and there's a bass player called Ben, who's our friend.

I can play to anything really. When you're a drummer, you can play to anything as long as you just follow the music. I started drumming when I was about six. I was a bit too young to learn, so I lost interest, but then I started in a band at the age of 9 and that's when I really got in to it.

Hi u 2!

How long have you been playing the drums for?

Message 15 - posted by Sam - Clash Team Member (U14091581) , Aug 4, 2009

Hey, MusicForever

smiley
I've been playing the drums for eight years! I play a little bit of guitar, too, but not much. Before I got my first drumkit and started drumming, I played on pots and pans and my parents realised I wanted to be a drummer and bought me my first kit.

Hi, twilight_fan12

Well, don't give up because when you first start playing you do get bored quite quickly of learning simple beats. But you do get through that quite quickly and it's really fun!
