Using the BBC Logo or Brand
The BBC logo is our most valuable visual asset.
Consistency is essential in order to protect the BBC brand.

All programme-makers using the BBC Logo or Brand must comply with the Commercial Policy Guidelines

The BBC logo is a key expression of the BBC's visual identity, instantly recognised by audiences, business partners and competitors worldwide. The BBC logo is the copyright of the British Broadcasting Corporation and may only be reproduced when authorised. BBC is a trademark of the British Broadcasting Corporation.
The logos shown in these Branding Guidelines are shown only in order to illustrate how they should be used on BBC television programmes for Network, National or English Regional transmission and may not be used for any other purpose
The logo must only be used in ways that are appropriate and must not be altered in any circumstances.
Basic rules in order to use the BBC Logo:

The minimum space around the logo in all directions must be equal to one half the width of a single box from the logo.
