Diverse Contributors Directory

It is vital that we reflect all aspects of society within our programming. As part of this ongoing commitment to diversity we have devised the Diverse Contributors Directory [PDF, 1.6 Mb] to enable a more balanced approach to casting on-screen talent. A wide variety of strong voices, opinion & beliefs are not only desirable & reflective of society, but also bring depth & vitality to our programmes.

The Directory is designed to help production teams identify organisations, individuals or groups of people from a wide range of diverse backgrounds to participate in BBC programmes.

Additionally, as part of the BBC's commitment to diversity we have prepared a directory of biographies of some of the hugely talented people the BBC has been working with, the On Screen Talent Directory [PDF, 1.5 Mb].
