Programme Synopsis

Include a brief synopsis of the programme or plot. Titles of Sketches/Items are useful to identify any repeat fees due to artists/contributors.



Section A: Contributors



List all the contributors - including:
The full name of any contributor. For Drama this must include the name of any character(s) portrayed. For Factual, whether the interviewer, presenter etc and a brief description of the role
The name of group, orchestra etc including the conductor or musical director.
The names of any musicians/singers appearing in vision on the PasC form by instrument and voice e.g. soprano. (this should be identified in the Description field.)
The name of the musical fixer plus the number of musicians used and the date of the recording session. Or where a musical fixer is not used, the individual name of each musician booked.
All session singers.
All walk-on artists.
All stunt performers, including stunt arranger and/or co-ordinators.
All choreographers
All variety acts
All puppeteers
Supporting artists no longer need to be listed on the PasC.
However, contributors initially booked as a "Supporting Artist" and subsequently made up to a "Walk-On", or a "Walk-On" subsequently made up to a "part" must be identified as such, as the payment terms may differ (state this in the Notes section for the artist) Indicate the following
PACT/TAC/Equity agreements should be identified and any contributions contracted using the all rights contributors release form should be listed together. Where contributor were contracted for the programme but were not used or do not appear in the final version of the programme, details should be included on the PasC. This information is necessary for future repeats of the programme or if the programme is sold.
If the contribution was for a voice over or narration this should be identified with "OOV (Out of Vision)" after the name.
Repeat fees may be due to contributors for compilation programmes and programmes that have used extracts from other BBC programmes and if a repeat fee is now due, this should be indicated. (Also see Contributors for additional information required).
Extract fees may be due to artists for compilation programmes and programmes that have used extracts from other BBC programmes and if an extract fee is now due, this should be indicated. (Also see Contributors for additional information required).

If a contributor has been identified as requiring a repeat or extract fee, it is important to list the following information in Section C: Film & Videotape .

Copyright within Extracts from BBC Programme

Copyright repeat/extract fees may be due for compilation programmes and programmes that have used extracts from BBC programmes. Include the following information:
