This guide will help you download and install CBBC wallpapers onto your computer for FREE .

In the example below we'll show you how to download one of the CBBC wallpapers. Don't worry if you want to choose different wallpaper though, instructions are the same for all wallpapers on CBBC.

Windows Wallpaper download guide for Windows

1. Find out the screen size. To do this, first minimise this window so that you can see your desktop (the screen you see when you first turn on the computer). Find an empty space and right-click the mouse button. Select 'Properties'. A box will appear with tabs across the top. Select 'Settings' and your screen size will be shown in the bottom right-hand corner.

2. Click on the link below which matches your screen size:

3. Click your right mouse button over the picture then select 'Set as background' or 'Set as wallpaper'.

You should now have your very own CBBC wallpaper on your desktop.

If you want to change it, just choose another wallpaper and it will be replaced.

Mac Wallpaper download guide for Mac

1. Find out the screen size. To do this, go to the APPLE menu, select 'Control Panels' and then 'Monitors & Sound'.

2. Click on the link below which matches your screen size:

3. In the APPLE menu, select 'Control Panels' and then 'Appearance'. Select the 'Desktop' tab at the top. If you see a 'Select Picture' button, choose that and find your '.pic' file. Click on 'Open', and then 'Set Desktop'.

4. If you see 'Remove Picture' instead of 'Select Picture', click it. The 'Select Picture' button should appear and you can follow the instructions above.

You should now have your very own CBBC wallpaper on your desktop.

If you want to change it, just choose another wallpaper and it will be replaced.
