making a gown If you get involved with Send a Smile YOU can help change the lives of children in India by helping Operation Smile perform more cleft repair operations

Andy, Helen and Joel are going to Guwahati, India at the beginning of December. They'd love to take some of your gowns with them, so send them in as soon as possible! You can keep taking your gowns to all the drop off points throughout November, December and January.

You can help Send a Smile by making a gown for a child to wear when they have their operation in India. Every gown that you make will save Operation Smile £3 which means that they can use that money to pay for more operations - the more gowns that Send a Smile receive the more operations can be performed, it’s as simple as that!

Top tips for making your gowns extra special:

Decorate your gown to the max - You could use buttons, ribbons, badges, and different glitter pens!

Use a large, brightly coloured t shirt as your base, this will make your finished gown really colourful and fun!

Step by step!

How to get involved with Send a Smile:

You've made 6,686 gowns so far - Well done guys! Keep going so we can reach the 20,000 we need to take to India!
