Get a badge
There are seven Blue Peter badges - Blue, Silver, Green, Gold, Competition, Factbyte Factory and the Purple Badge. Read more about the badges here.
Blue Peter badges are only awarded to children aged 6 to 15 years old or adults who have appeared on the programme.
When applying for a badge please make sure you follow these guidelines, otherwise your application may not be considered.
What to send:
Your entry needs to be at least 50 words in length. We're sorry, but we can't consider or reply to entries that are shorter than this.
Please make sure you put in as much effort as possible. You entry needs to stand out amongst the thousands of letters and emails we receive every week.
If you would like to show us some photos or videos you have created, you can either send us a website link or use the email address below.
If you're applying for a Silver Badge, your entry must be different from your Blue Badge entry. So, if you won a Blue Badge for a picture, think of something else from a picture to send in.
To win a purple badge you must review an episode of Blue Peter. Print off the Purple Badge Form (found by clicking here) and fill it in for your chance to get a Purple Team Player badge.
We receive a high volume of badge applications every day, so please be patient!
Include these details:
Your full name
Your date of birth
Your HOME postal address and postcode - not your school address
If you are sending a group entry, please make sure you supply the full name, home address and date of birth of each person in the group
Once you've read all the instructions, you can use this form to tell us why you think you should win a Blue Peter badge.
