Ricky visits flood-hit town

Hundreds of people in the town of Cockermouth in Cumbria have been allowed to return to their homes for the first time after the area was hit by flooding.

All buildings in the town are being checked by engineers before people are allowed back inside them.

The council in Cumbria reckon it could take years and millions of pounds to repair all the damage caused by the flooding.

Ricky has been to Cockermouth to investigate.
