Renault's Fernando Alonso
Watch Sonali's report
Renault is discussing whether to pull out of Formula One at an emergency meeting on Wednesday evening.
The team has three options - stay in the sport, switch to supplying engines to other teams, or quit completely.
The news comes on the same day that Toyota announced it would be leaving the sport because it was too pricey, the third team to quit in 11 months.
However, it's not thought Renault will reveal the decision it comes to on Wednesday night.

Renault haven't had a good F1 season. They finished eighth out of ten in the constructors championship.
On top of that, they were in a lot of trouble because of a race fixing scandal.
The team asked driver Nelson Piquet Jr to crash in a race in Singapore in 2008, in order to help his team mate Fernando Alonso.
They were punished by being given a two-year suspended ban from the sport, which means if they get in trouble again, they won't be able to race for 24 months.
