Vote: Is product placement on TV shows a good idea?


Children watching TV

A ban on product placement on British TV shows looks set to be lifted by the government.

It means independent TV companies will be able to get paid for showing branded products during programmes like X Factor or soap operas.

The ban will still apply to children's programme though.

But do agree with product placement?

Yes - if TV companies have more money they'll make better shows

Maybe - if it isn't too obvious

No - it's too distracting
