Sunita Williams
An American astronaut set a new record by running the first marathon in space!
Sunita Williams completed Monday's 26.2 mile race aboard the International Space Station in just four hours, 23 minutes and 46 seconds.
The astronaut was taking part in the Boston Marathon which took place on Earth at the same time. She had signed up for it before she went into space.
Sunita ran the race tied to a treadmill with elasticated ropes to stop her floating away.

Afterwards she told Mission Control : "I'm done! Woo hoo!"
Twice round the world
Sunita Williams on a space walk For the marathon the US Navy Commander wore a bib with race number 14,000 and followed the progress of the Earth marathon watching a laptop computer.
During the time it took Sunita to run the race she circled the Earth twice.
The astronaut, who flew to the space station in December 2006, has already completed lots of marathons back on Earth.
