Robbie 'may join Take That again'

Robbie Williams
Robbie Williams may go back to work with his former band Take That, says his mum.

Jan Williams told a newspaper in Robbie's hometown of Stoke that joining up with Take That was "something he wanted to do".

She also said that Robbie was pleased with Take That's new-found success after they got back together in 2006.

Robbie, whose last number one song was in 2004, left Take That in 1995. The band split a year later.

Jan said: "On the question of him doing something with Take That, I feel it will happen.

"It would be something he wanted to do," she said.

Take That have already had two number one songs, a chart-topping album and sell-out tours since they reformed last year.

Robbie's mum thinks he is now ready to return to his successful pop career.

She said: "He's enjoying life and his football and going out with the lads and having a laugh.

"He's doing a lot of writing, he spends a lot of time in his studio," she added.
