Jacqueline Wilson Children's writer Jacqueline Wilson has again topped the chart as the most borrowed author from public libraries.
Jacqueline's books, which include The Story of Tracy Beaker, Vicky Angel and Girls In Tears, were lent out over 2.2 million times in 2004.
It's the second year running Jacqueline has been named the library favourite.
Although Potter author JK Rowling did not get a place in the top 20 borrowed writers, Order of the Phoenix was named the most lent out individual title.
Another kids' author, Mick Inkpen, who illustrates picture books for very young children, was named fourth most borrowed author, according to the Public Lending Right (PLR).

Jacqueline has sold more than 15 million books in the UK, and has been honoured for her services to writing in schools.
