Eva Green won the Orange Rising Star award in 2007
The Baftas are the biggest film awards in Britain and have been run by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts since 1948.
They are held in February, right before the Oscars in March. The films that win big over here are usually tipped to do the same across the Atlantic.
The Baftas started out with just three awards, but now it gives out 24, including all the traditional categories like best film and best actor and actress.
The most prestigious award is The Fellowship. It's given for outstanding achievement in films to people like Steven Spielberg, Sir Michael Caine and Charlie Chaplin.
The Baftas have been sponsored by Orange since 1998. Two years ago, they introduced the Orange Rising Star award to recognise new acting talent. It's the only Bafta voted for by the public.
