AdvertisementA woman has called 999 after her hamster escaped its cage and disappeared down the plughole in her bath.
The audio was released by South Yorkshire Police to raise people's awareness of the number of non-urgent calls received on the 999 service.
They claim eight out of 10 of the calls they receive are not urgent, and say they want people to think before calling 999.
