Troops in homecoming parade

A homecoming parade has been held in Exeter for nearly 700 troops who have recently returned from Afghanistan. Together they lost 44 men during their deployment.

The parade passed the city's Guildhall where the Duke of Edinburgh took the salute.

A service of remembrance and thanksgiving was also held.
