Prabhash Joshi Mr Joshi was the founder editor of one of India's biggest Hindi newspapers
Leading Indian journalist Prabhash Joshi has died after suffering from a heart attack in the capital, Delhi, at the age of 72, family members say.
Mr Joshi was the founder editor of Jansatta, one of India's biggest Hindi language newspapers.
After retiring from the newspaper in 1995, Mr Joshi continued as an editorial advisor.
Mr Joshi, who also wrote on cricket, suffered from a heart attack after watching a match late on Thursday.
Mr Joshi also worked with the Indian Express newspaper as resident editor for various editions.
He is survived by his wife, two sons and a daughter.
