Workshops during the 2005 BBC Cardiff Singer of the World competition
The BBC National Orchestra of Wales makes music with communities across the country.
The orchestra's Education and Community Outreach Department organises a series of programmes of work which involve people of all ages and abilities in making music with professional musicians.
The projects create unique musical and arts events, celebrating the creativity and abilities of people across Wales.
Groups, schools and communities are brought together through the work, while individuals discover a new sense of self confidence by participating in the arts, often for the first time.
