Friends of the BBC Philharmonic As the BBC Philharmonic maintains its rise on the international classical music platform, the Friends of the BBC Philharmonic continue to provide invauable local support in Manchester.

Members of the Friends can enjoy the following benefits:

*NEW* Bi-annual newsletter - the Friends newsletter, giving you all the latest news, interviews with players and conductors and insights within the Orchestra, twice a year.
What’s On – a monthly information sheet, containing dates and times of all the Orchestra’s studio and concert hall performances, tours and broadcasts for the month.
20% off BBC Philharmonic concerts at The Bridgewater Hall – Friends of the BBC Philharmonic are registered on the Hall’s Box Office system so you can book over the phone or in person.
*NEW* Free programmes at concerts – simply request a free programme voucher when you purchase your tickets and exchange it at the programme stand on the night
Concerts in Studio 7 Concert Hall, the home of the BBC Philharmonic at BBC Manchester – an share of tickets is available to the Friends for the majority of studio concerts. These are free and allocated on a first come first served basis.
Open rehearsals – exclusive access to watch the Orchestra rehearsing at their home in Studio 7.
10% off in The Bridgewater Hall Shop – receive this discount on the entire range of CDs, cards and gifts when you show your membership card.
*NEW* Discount on the Chandos Records website – 15% off CDs from the BBC Philharmonic’s record label when you buy online at www.chandos-records.com.
*NEW* discounted Proms Guide – money off the Proms guide when you purchase it from us.
Special Friends events – each year we offer special events for the Friends, such as recitals and talks, giving you an opportunity to socialise and to talk with players and staff.
*NEW* Friends Volunteers (optional) – an opportunity to get more involved with the Orchestra; volunteers may help us to stuff mailings, distribute brochures or assist at events.

Membership Fees:

Individual Member: £20
Concession Member: £15
Dual Membership: £25
Dual Concession: £18
Dual Member/Concession: £22

Concession rates apply to retired members, young members (under 26), unemployed and disabled.
Dual membership can be purchased by two people who live at the same address. You will receive a membership card each but share mailings such as What's On and the Friend's newsletter.
