Introduction

This further guidance note concerns:

It should be read in conjunction with Section 7 of the BBC Editorial Guidelines: Crime and Anti-Social Behaviour which also contains Guidelines on Investigations into Crime and Serious Anti-Social Behaviour, Interviews with Prisoners, Payments, Paedophiles and Other Sex Offenders, Crime Library Material, Requests for Untransmitted Material and Requests for Transmitted Material).

It should be noted that the Editorial Guidelines on Crime and Anti-Social Behaviour contain 13 mandatory referrals to Controller Editorial Policy, which may be read here .
